Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between SMSCAP Educational Point (“we”, “us”, “our”) and you (“you”, “user”, “student”, “parent”). By accessing this website, browsing college or course information, or submitting an admission enquiry through SMSCAP, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy above. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the platform.

Our Service

SMSCAP is an educational guidance and college-admission platform. We help students and parents make informed decisions about courses and colleges after schooling, across India. Our work includes, but is not limited to, verified information on colleges, courses, eligibility, and duration; campus infrastructure photos and videos; placement and career-outcome guidance; admission enquiry submission and application support; and coordination with participating educational institutions on your behalf.

SMSCAP is not an educational institution, is not authorised to grant degrees, diplomas, or admissions, and the final admission decision always rests with the institution you apply to.

Acceptable Use

When using this website, you agree not to submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in any enquiry, application, or form, including academic records; use the platform or our communication channels to harass, abuse, or threaten any staff member; attempt to disrupt, hack, or breach the security of the website or its infrastructure; scrape, copy, reproduce, or republish any content from the site without our written consent; or resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any college data, comparison, or guidance we provide.

Accounts & Eligibility

To submit an enquiry or application through SMSCAP, you must be at least 16 years old, or be acting under the supervision of a parent or guardian. By submitting any form on this website, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and current, and, if you are under 18, that your parent or guardian has reviewed and approved it.

Guidance Disclaimer

The college, course, and career information SMSCAP provides is compiled to help you make an informed decision. It is not a guarantee of admission, scholarship, or placement outcome; not a substitute for an institution’s own official prospectus, eligibility criteria, or admission notification, which always take precedence; and not financial, legal, or immigration advice.

Final course and college decisions are yours — we recommend making them in conversation with your parents, school, and a SMSCAP advisor.

Fees & Payments

Browsing college and course information, and submitting an admission enquiry through SMSCAP, is free for students and parents. Where SMSCAP offers any paid, optional service, the fee, scope, and payment terms will be quoted to you in writing before you commit. We do not accept cash for any service; all payments, where applicable, are made through traceable digital channels in your name.

Refund Policy

Where you have paid for any optional SMSCAP service: if you change your mind within 7 days of payment and the service has not yet been delivered, you receive a full refund. If a service is in progress, we refund the portion not yet delivered. Institution application fees, entrance-exam fees, and government processing charges paid on your behalf are non-refundable, as these are passed on to third parties. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 10 working days.

To raise a refund request, write to info@smscap.in with your enquiry reference. We respond within 3 working days.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including the SMSCAP name, logo, site design, college comparisons, and guidance material, is the intellectual property of SMSCAP unless otherwise specified. You may use this content for your personal, non-commercial educational planning. You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute it elsewhere without our prior written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, SMSCAP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of admission, scholarship, or career outcome, arising from your use of our website or services. SMSCAP is not responsible for decisions made by educational institutions or changes to their admission policies.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, with the “Last updated” date shown above. Continued use of SMSCAP after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Communication Consent & Opt-In

By submitting your enquiry or registering with SMSCAP, you consent to receive communication from us through Phone Calls, SMS, RCS Messages, WhatsApp, and Email regarding educational guidance, admission updates, counselling services, application status, promotional offers, and important notifications.

SMSCAP respects your privacy and will never misuse or sell your personal information. Communications are made only during reasonable business hours, and you may opt out of promotional communications at any time.

How Opt-In Works at SMSCAP

You share your details through our website form, a phone call, or in person at our office. You choose your channels, selecting which of Call, SMS, RCS, WhatsApp, or Email you’re comfortable being reached on. We confirm your enquiry and begin guidance only through the channels you selected. You stay in control — reply STOP on any message thread, or email info@smscap.in, to opt out of that channel at any time. Opting out never affects your ongoing admission support through the channels you keep active.
